FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to piston pumps intended primarily for hydraulic fracturing and maintenance of formation pressure in oil and gas industry. In the method of reducing irregularity of pumped liquid supply by a group of simultaneously operating piston pumps 1, 2, 3, having common suction and delivery pipelines 7 and 8, crankshafts 4, 5, 6 of the pumps are connected to output shafts of electric motors 9, 10, 11. Preset phase shift of rotation of shafts 4, 5, 6 is pre-calculated, obtaining information on current angular position of shaft 4, 5, 6 of each of pumps 1, 2, 3, determining phase shift of rotation of shafts 4, 5, 6 relative to each other, providing position of shafts 4, 5, 6 with specified phase shift relative to each other and subsequent rotation of shafts 4, 5, 6 with specified phase shift relative to each other by means of controlled drive. Maintaining the specified phase shift of rotation of shafts 4, 5, 6 is performed continuously during operation of pumps.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reduction of pumped liquid pressure pulsations, improvement of operational characteristics and reliability of operation of a group of simultaneously operating piston pumps.
