FIELD: mechanical engineering and tool-making industry.
SUBSTANCE: magneto-liquid damper consists of body filled with magnetic liquid, flat moving element positioned inside the body coaxially with it, a rod rigidly connected to it, which connects the object being damped with flat moving element and a magnet. The magnet is made in form of solenoid, installed immovably inside the body and connected to controllable power supply. Flat immovable element is made of non electro-conductive non-magnetic material with evenly distributed through apertures, axes of which are close or coincide with direction of power lines of magnetic field.
EFFECT: expanded adjustment range of resilient forces which appear during damping.
