SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to conduct computed morphometry of nucleoli stained with 50%-silver nitrate solution The values of nucleoli' areas being within 25-75%% quartiles should be analyzed. Metric parameters of nucleoli areas should be transformed into conditional units of areas - average values of the interval of area referred to the average value of the least interval for normal epithelium which was conditionally considered to correspond to diploid set of DNA nucleus. Based upon frequency characteristics of each interval transformed into conditional units of area it is necessary to obtain histograms to observe qualitative peculiarity in distributing the areas of nucleoli for each clinico-morphological form. The innovation enables to elaborate morphometric classification of the nucleoli associated with nuclear ploidy.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of classification.
