FIELD: oncology.
SUBSTANCE: method enables investigation of living, non-tinted, and non-activated cells in automatic mode in order to increase reliability of revealing malignant cells, accuracy, and reproducibility of measurements. Cancer is diagnosed by means of investigating vital dynamics of cells using dynamic coherent phase microscopy. Intensity and spectral characteristics of fluctuation of cell nucleolus phase thickness are determined and, when typical spectral components within the range 8.0-20.0 Hz are present, presence of malignant cells in the sample is stated.
EFFECT: increased reliability and accuracy of determination.
