SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for temporary sealing of bullet holes in liquid rigid hollow articles, in particular in tanks, automobile and railway tanks, and can be used to temporarily seal openings in ship hulls. Device consists of an elastic plug 1 with annular projections and a device for installing the plug into a bullet hole. Plug 1 is attached at its end to holder 2 with shank 4 for interacting with the device. Device for installing the plug into the bullet hole includes hollow rod 5, inside which there is rod 7 provided with handle 10. Rod 7 has two annular projections 8 and 9. Projection 8 is the abutment for spring 12, and protrusion 9 is used to interact with the lock of the position of rod 7 in the operating position. On hollow bar 5 there is a conical screen for protection against oil products of a person closing a hole.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the safety technique in the liquidation of leaks in oil products and to increase the reliability of sealing of bullet holes.
