FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of 1-(N,N-dicyclohexylamino)-1,2-dihydro[60]fullerene of the general formula (1): . Method involves interaction of fullerene-C60 with N,N-dicyclohexylamine in the mole ratio fullerene-C60 : N,N-dicyclohexylamine = 0.01:(0.01-0.011) in the presence of zirconacene dichloride (Cp2ZrCl2) as a catalyst taken in the amount 15-25 mole% with respect to fullerene-C60, in toluene medium as a solvent, at room temperature (˜20oC) for 42-54 h. The yield of the end product is 69-92%. Synthesized compound can be used as chelating agents, sorbents, biologically active compounds, and in creature of novel materials with desired electronic, magnetic and optical properties.
EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
