FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of 1,2,5-trialkyl-3,4-fullero[60]phospholanes of the formula (I) , wherein R means propyl (Pr), R' means ethyl (Et); R means butyl (Bu), R' means Pr; R means hexyl (Hex), R; mean amyl (Am). Method involves interaction of fullerene-C60 with trialkylphosphine in the presence of Cp2TiCl2 as a catalyst in toluene medium at room temperature (˜20°C) for 66-78 h. The yield of the end product is 47-70%. Method provides the selective synthesis of compound of the formula (I) with the high yield. Synthesized compound can be used as chelating agent, sorbent, biologically active compound and in design of novel material with desired electronic, magnetic and optical properties.
EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, valuable properties of compound.
