FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly moles, piers, quays, quay walls, groynes, breakwaters.
SUBSTANCE: quay comprises sheet pile and inclined anchoring pile grouted with cordone beam. Sheet pile and anchoring pile are connected with each other by means of double flat ties in central parts thereof. The first tie ends are hingedly secured to sheet pile so that they may rotate in vertical planes, the second ends thereof adjoin anchoring pile from both sides thereof and are fastened to anchoring pile by means of round rod and plate connected thereto and supported by anchoring pile. As space behind sheet pile is filled with sand ground and ground pressure acting on sheet pile increases flat ties decrease sheet pile bending moments and prevent flexing thereof.
EFFECT: possibility to use light-weight cheap sheet piles.
