SUBSTANCE: proposed adsorbent designed for decontaminating radioactive wastes is made in the form of granules, proportion of components being as follows, mass percent: silicon-containing material, 85-90; alkali and/or alkali-earth elements, 2-5; binder, 8-10; it is covered with mechanical mixture of alkali and/or alkali-earth elements and activating agent.
EFFECT: enhanced degree of radioactive waste and media decontamination.
