FIELD: communication methods utilizing general use phones.

SUBSTANCE: the system and the method set up a phone connection, requested by a user, between general use pone and remote phone. Each general use phone in the system has a device for identification of calling subscriber, such as a card reader, which allows the user to identify himself or herself in the system. The processor receives data which include user identifier and location of general use phone, and compares the data to data stored in database. The processor determines, whether the user or the general use phone match one or several predetermined conditions. The setup of requested phone connection between general use phone and remote phone is finished, if the user and/or the general use phone match predetermined conditions.

EFFECT: initiation and receipt of phone calls from general use phones.
