TOOLING EQUIPMENT WITH THE SPIRAL TURNS FOR MANUFACTURE OF THE ARTICLES WITH THE STRUCTURED SURFACE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC B29C59/04

Abstract RU 2311293 C2

FIELD: mechanical engineering; other industries; tooling equipment with the spiral turns for usage at manufacture of the articles with the structured surface.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is intended for usage at manufacture of the articles with the structured surface. The invention includes the instrumental rollers and the methods of usage of the instrumental rollers for manufacture of the articles with one or more structured surfaces. The outer surfaces of the instrumental rollers ensure forming of the structured surface on the manufactured articles provided that these articles have the required viscosity or moldability. The instrumental rollers represent the cylindrical basic roller with the reeled on it in one or several layers wire forming the wavy spiral pattern. The wavy spiral patterns form themselves the profile or the pattern in such a manner that the spacing interval between the first wire and the supporting plane disposed across the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical basic roller is sequentially increasing or diminishing at relocation in one direction along the circumference of the basic roller. The wires are used for formation of the structured surface on the instrumental roller, which one is the "negative" of the structured surface, which should be formed on the articles. One or bigger number of the wires, which have been reeled on the circumference of the basic roller may contain the multiple structural cavities, so that after the coiling of the wire on the basic roller on the external surface of the instrumental tooling, the casting cavities are formed. The spiral pattern formed at the coiling of one or several wires may be applied for formation of the continuous structured surface with the spiral pattern, for example, the spiral-type groove or grooves. Due to the fact, that the toolings are manufactured in the form of the rollers, they may be used in the continuous production lines and for manufacture of the very small details.

EFFECT: the invention ensures, that the spiral pattern formed at the coiling of one or several wires on the basic roller may be applied for formation of the continuous structured surface with the spiral pattern, such as the spiral-type groove or grooves and due to the fact, that the instrumental tools are manufactured in the form of the rollers, they also may be used for manufacture of the very small details.
