FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed cycle in two-stroke internal combustion engine steam formed in evaporator by heat removed from walls of cylinder heads is introduced into cylinder of internal combustion engine during expansion stroke after finishing of burning process. Steam mixes with working medium, gets heated and expanded, thus increasing indicated pressure and decreases mean temperature and amount of toxic matter in working medium. Fresh air is introduced into cylinder of internal combustion engine before opening exhaust ports. Fresh air mixes working medium, gets expanded, thus increasing indicated pressure, decreases temperature and amount of toxic matter in working medium. When exhaust ports open, working medium in form of exhaust gases passes into exhaust manifold, and amount of exhaust gases remaining in cylinder of internal combustion engine is regulated by pressure built is exhaust manifold. At end of expansion stroke process of compression and cooling of supercharging air in compressor is completed. At beginning of compression stroke pressure of supercharging compressed air is used to move pistons. Moving pistons deliver portion of heated water inside plunger of auxiliary compressor, said water being designed for introduction into supercharging air, exhaust ports are closed and after definite angle of turning of eccentric shaft determined by engine operating conditions, supercharging air is delivered into cylinder of auxiliary compressor which directs one portion of water into evaporator and entrains other portion into cylinder of internal combustion engine where it is mixed with exhaust gases and gets compressed. Fresh air is delivered into cylinders of supercharging and auxiliary compressors. Next portion of heated water is introduced into cylinder of auxiliary compressor. In proposed two-stroke internal combustion engine, outer surfaces of pistons are connected with one arm of bellcranks whose other arms rests on guides controllably displaced relative to body of internal combustion engine. Piston seals are made of elastic tape in form of conical Archimedean spiral without clearances between coils. Coils can be move. Extensions of long sides in cross section of coil intersect. Guide surfaces of pistons rest on plungers of supercharging and auxiliary compressors on support end of which slots are made, and plunger proper is installed for controlled displacement.
EFFECT: reduced amount of toxic matter in exhaust gases, increased efficiency of engine.
