FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of preparation of fuel mixture for heat engines comes to evaporating liquid fuel to form fuel mixture and subsequent delivery of mixture into intake manifold. Intake air flow is divided into two parts in required proportion defined by characteristics of used fuel and operating conditions of engine. One part of flow is heated to fuel self-ignition temperature and is delivered into mixing chamber for mixing with liquid fuel. Enriched homogeneous mixture is delivered into second mixing chamber together with second part of intake air flow. Then leaned mixture if fed into intake manifold of engine.
EFFECT: simplified control system, increased reliability and accuracy of control of composition of fuel mixture.
