FIELD: aeronautic technology and rocketry; jet engines contributing to flying vehicle radio visibility in aft hemisphere.
SUBSTANCE: novelty is that electron beam is introduced into outlet-channel space of flying vehicle engine and not into surrounding atmosphere and that absorbing plasma volume is created for covering channel section. Small content of oxygen molecules and high gas temperature are created therein to prevent electron adhesion loss. In order to optimize plasmochemical processes additional materials (for instance fuel) can be introduced into absorbing plasma volume to produce positive atomic ions therein.
EFFECT: enhanced reduction of flying vehicle radio visibility in aft hemisphere when flying at all (including low) altitudes with aid of plasma protection system of relatively low power requirement.
