FIELD: chemical industry; nonferrous industry; gold-mining industry; other industries; methods of detoxication of the alkaline cyanide-containing pulps and process waters.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of the hydrometallurgy and may be used at the enterprises of the nonferrous metallurgy and the gold-mining industry for detoxication of the alkaline cyanide-containing waters and the pulps. The method is exercised in one process cycle with production of the agents of detoxication and usage of the sodium chloride solution in the capacity of the electrolyte. The chlorine and alkali separately produced from sodium chloride are separately fed into the moving stream of the being decontaminated pulps or the process waters of the enterprises of the gold-mining industry at least twice. At that they observe succession of the feeding - at first - chlorine up to рН 6-6.5, and then - alkali - up to reaching рН 9-11. In the preferential version the feeding of the detoxication agents is repeated in the stated successions. The method allows realization of the qualitative detoxication of the alkaline cyanide-containing pulps and the process waters at reduction of the net cost of the process.
EFFECT: the invention ensures realization of the qualitative detoxication of the alkaline cyanide-containing pulps and the process waters at reduction of the net cost of the process.
