FIELD: metallurgy and foundry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is used for obtaining monocrystal structure and accompanying refining as well as for production of superpurity metals and monocrystals from them. Proposed method includes forming of supercooling in melt which exceeds interval of metastability of growth; crystallization of melt is carried out in centrifuge field of forces at gravitation coefficient ensuring adequate supercooling in melt and equal to difference between optimal magnitude of supercooling corresponding to maximum linear velocity of crystal growth and interval of growth metastability which is determined by the following expression: where A, B, L, M are coefficients; Kg is gravitation coefficient; T is crystallization temperature; ΔT0 is supercooling of crystal obtained experimentally. For growing the monocrystals and refining the melt, it is cooled in volume at rate of 0.02-0.08°C/s.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of method.
