FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves scanning inhomogeneity under study by applying X-ray and acoustic methods at the same slice set, obtaining each slice spectra using both methods and resulting inhomogeneity image. Single X-ray scanning is carried out and the obtained spatial spectra of the slices set are saved. Repeated diagnostic examination includes only acoustic scanning. Each slice spectra are united by concurrently applying X-ray and acoustic scanning methods or using marker at the first slice. Components of scattered radiation field are circularly fixed around the inhomogeneity under study in carrying out acoustic scanning.
EFFECT: high quality of image reconstruction.
