FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used for estimating radiation exposure of an individual during computerised tomography scan. Group of inventions discloses a method and system for estimation of radiation exposure of an individual during computerised tomography scan. System has a processor and memory which stores an application program, configured to perform operation. Set of parameters is obtained, describing tomography scanning and device for imaging. Deformed tomographic phantom corresponding to an individual is obtained. Plurality of previous simulations are evaluated. After determining that two or more simulations correspond to obtained set of parameters and deformed tomographic phantom, interpolation of estimation of radiation dose is carried out. After determining that plurality of simulations does not include at least two or more simulations corresponding to obtained set of parameters and deformed tomographic phantom, simulation of tomographic scan, estimation of amount of radiation and addition of simulation performed is carried out.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of estimating radiation dose absorbed by an individual during tomographic scan due to production of deformed tomographic phantom, assessment of compliance of plurality of simulations with at least two or more simulations, corresponding to obtained set of parameters and deformed tomographic phantom.
