FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves removing suspension fat pieces and mesentery from distal portion of sigmoid colon. Seromuscular cylinder is exposed on released portion of sigmoid colon. Smooth muscle sphincter is created on intestine to be descended. The sigmoid colon is descended into perineal wound. Perineal colostoma is formed. 3-4 cm long seromuscular cylinder is cut out from descended sigmoid colon. The cylinder is cut on anti-mesenterial edge along the intestine. An opening is made in the descended sigmoid colon mesentery close above the exposed cylinder. Split ends of the seromuscular flap are brought through the opening in opposite directions. The seromuscular flap ends are drawn 2.0-2.1 times as long and fixed on mesenterial edge one above the other.
EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications; improved fecal continence in smooth muscle collar zone.
