ELECTRICITY-CONDUCTIVE PASTE USED FOR CONNECTION OF THE METALLIC AND THE CARBON-CONTAINING MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC C25C3/08

Abstract RU 2312936 C1

FIELD: chemical industry; non-ferrous metallurgy; other industries; production of the electricity-conductive paste used for joining of the metallic and hydrocarbon materials.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the electricity-conductive paste used for joining of the metallic and hydrocarbon materials at production of aluminum and may be applied at mounting of the aluminum electrolyzer, and also in other industries, where the carbon-containing materials are used. The electricity-conductive paste including graphite, the electricity-conductive filler and the carbon-containing binding agent contains graphite made in the form of the graphite powder with the coarseness of no more than 2 mm, in the capacity of the filling agent - the iron-containing powder with the coarseness of no more than 1 mm and additionally contains finely dispersed refractory material in the form the titanium powder with the coarseness of no more than 1 mm, at the following ratio of the components (in mass )%: the graphite powder with the coarseness of no more than 2 mm - 45-55; the iron-containing powder with the coarseness of no more than 1 mm -30-45; the titanium powder with the coarseness of no more than 1 mm - 5-10; carbon-containing binding agent - the rest. In the capacity of the iron-containing powder the paste can contain the steel powder or the cast-iron powder, in the capacity of carbon-containing binding agent - molasses beet or the bituminous varnish of the type of "Kuzbaslak" of BT-577 brand or the mixtures of the above-stated binding agents with the sodium fluosilicate at the following ratios (in mass %): the binding agent - 65-75; sodium fluosilicate - 25-35. The electrical contact between the metallic and carbon-containing materials with the help of the offered paste can be formed both as a result of molding and the atmospheric drying, and as a result of molding and the following thermal treatment. The formed contact piece has the sufficient mechanical strength, reliability and low specific electric resistance and may be used in the hard-to-get-to joints for repair and maintenance in the conditions of action of the high temperatures.

EFFECT: the invention ensures, that the formed contact piece has the sufficient mechanical strength, reliability and the low specific electric resistance and may be used in the hard-to-get-to joints for repair and maintenance in the conditions of action of the high temperatures.
