FIELD: tool-making industry, possible use for producing images of underlying surface from onboard a spacecraft.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, M groups of N keys, M adders and a drive of optical system with variable focal distance are additionally introduced. Due to that it is possible to simultaneously control resolution and sensitivity of device: by decreasing focal distance - to increase amount of spectral ranges of optical image, and vice versa, by increasing focal distance - to decrease amount of spectral ranges.

EFFECT: increased efficiency when examining natural resources of Earth and when observing man-made objects.
