FIELD: general-purpose slicing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: slicing machine has casing formed as substantially rectangular parallelepiped having rear wall and front wall. Front wall is spaced from rear wall by a distance so as to define cavity accessible through detachable wall of casing. Incorporated within cavity is drive unit comprising drive engine and drive mechanism and designed for driving of disk knife disposed on front wall. Detachable wall of casing is defined by narrow end wall of casing. Other walls of casing are united into single non-detachable structure. Carcass is positioned within casing so that it may be retracted into casing. Carcass is made as non-detachable part with end wall and is designed for carrying of drive mechanism and drive engine. Non-detachable part is provided with rigidity ribs positioned between carcass and end wall.
EFFECT: simplified construction, increased rigidity and simplified assembling of slicing machine.
