FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary internal combustion engine has body with two spaces for suction and compression of working mixture, working stroke and exhaust of waste gases interconnected by bypass ports. Fitted on one shaft inside engine body are rotors with projections over perimeters and valves with drive mechanism forming working chambers. Rotors with projections over perimeter are displaced through length of projection so that front end face of projections in space of suction and compression of working mixture corresponding to position of end face of projection in space of working stroke and exhaust of waste gases. Valves are arranged in suction and compression space after bypass port, and before bypass port in working stroke and exhaust space.
EFFECT: reduced dynamic loads on engine parts, improved reliability of engine and reduced overall dimensions of engine.
