FIELD: technology for predicting location and time of creation of ozone holes.
SUBSTANCE: by probing atmosphere, electrically charged ultra-disperse aerosol particles are detected. Location of ozone hole creation is determined correspondingly to area of appearance of aforementioned particles in ozone layer with concentration equal to or exceeding 104cm-3. Time of creation of ozone hole is predicted on basis of computed time of penetration of space sun rays into Earth stratosphere.
EFFECT: prediction of time and area of creation of ozone holes in stratosphere.
