FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used for diagnosing ankle's deep veins thrombosis. Surface veins are pressed over by compression cuff under pressure of 40 Hg column mm. Image of ankle is achieved from different positions by means of electro-optic detectors. Images are subject to preliminary processing. Like points of ankle are compared at different images. Three-dimensional coordinates of points of ankle are determined. Three-dimensional surface of ankle is formed by means of approximation by elementary triangles. Volume of ankle prior and after compression is measured by adding volumes of elementary tetrahedrons.
EFFECT: automated process of diagnostics; simplicity.
