FIELD: devices for severing paper ribbons in rewinders.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, ribbon is provided with transverse perforation lines at even intervals, which divide ribbon on sheets, connected to each other, but with possible separation according to perforation lines. Device contains means for severing a ribbon along the perforation line, which divides last sheet of log in process of completion from first sheet of next log to be completed, where aforementioned severing means are pneumatic type means, made with possible direction of compressed air jet towards aforementioned perforation line.
EFFECT: increased reliability of operation and simplified maintenance.
