FIELD: production of paper logs.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an apparatus for making paper logs, comprising at least one roll supporting roll support, from which corresponding paper layer is unwound, at least one processing device, in which a layer is applied to change the structure or shape of the layer, guide means for guiding the layer, arranged along the predetermined trajectory between the at least one roll and the processing device. Guide means are intended to provide a contact area through which the layer passes at the preliminary stage of filling the layer. Contact zone is eliminated after completion of filling.
EFFECT: device provides high efficiency during logging.
