SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of logs of paper material. Method of applying glue on tubular cores includes a step of successively supplying multiple tubular cores along a predetermined direction of movement and a step of applying to each of said cores a predetermined amount of glue. Glue is applied on tubular cores from above at movement of cores along the specified direction and without interruption of their movement. Tubular cores for a predetermined period of time pick up the glue dispensed by a predetermined number of nozzles. During said period of time adhesive is located both on nozzles and on tubular cores.
EFFECT: providing high flow rate of cores and low consumption of glue without deterioration of gluing quality.
