SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of processing of paper roll products. Method of applying glue to tubular bushings for making logs of paper material comprises the step of sequentially feeding a large number of tubular bushings. Bushings are produced along the predetermined feed direction. Next stage for each of the bushings is application of a predetermined amount of glue. Glue is applied at the first point and at the second point. Method further comprises the step of positioning the glue. Glue, which is applied at the first point, is oriented towards the second point and along the feeding direction. Glue, which is applied at the second point, is oriented towards the first point and along the direction opposite to the mentioned feeding direction.
EFFECT: possibility of paper contamination is eliminated.
