FIELD: application of enamel coats on articles made from cast iron and steel.

SUBSTANCE: proposed enamel slip contains the following components, mass-%: frit, 100.0; clay, 0.5-1.0; water, 46.0-50.0; ammonium anhydride, 0.3-0.5; sodium tripolyphosphate, 0.3-0.5; soda, 3.0-4.0. Frit contains the following components, mass-%: SiO₂, 40.0-45.0; B₂O₃,20.0-25.0; Al₂O₃, 2.0-4.0; Na₂O, 10.0-15.0; MgO, 2.0-4.0; CoO, 0.5-1.5; SrO, 10.0-15.0; PbO, 2.5-3.5.

EFFECT: enhanced spreadibility of enamel slip.
