FIELD: distillery industry; method of production of ethanol.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the distillery industry and may be used in installations for production of the rectified alcohol. For the method of production of ethanol exercise preparation of the source beer, its heating-up, the continuous fermentation and the continuous distillation at the lowered pressure of the alcohol-water vapors and the carbonic gas. Withdrawal of the spent distillers' beer is exercised at reaching of the ethanol content in it below 0.5 %. In the withdrawal process the distillers' beer is subjected to decantation with separation of the fugate effluent, and then the formed fugate is routed to the stage of preparation of the source distillers beer. Realization of the stated invention allows to diminish the consumption of barm and to reduce the total power inputs for the process of production of ethanol.

EFFECT: the invention ensures, that the method allows to diminish the consumption of barm and to reduce the total power inputs for the process of production of ethanol.
