FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with the technology for processing raw material of natural origin to obtain a biologically active additive (BAA) out of velvet antlers. This method deals with dividing into portions velvet antlers cleaned against wool followed by their disinfection with subsequent extracting into water or water-alcoholic solutions and separating an extract and velvet antlers portions. Moreover, extracting should be carried out with ultrasound technique at the mode of cavitation. Moreover, the ratio of velvet antlers against water or solution corresponds to 1:1-10. Extracting should last for the period being necessary to obtain the desired concentration of an extract at temperature not exceeding 40°C. As variant the present method includes reducing wool-cleaned velvet antlers followed by their disinfection. Moreover, reducing should be fulfilled by removing transverse finely dispersed layers with a cutting that is supplied with periodically located cutting edges at its working surface. Moreover, the periodicity of their location and the rate of the cutting movement should be matched based upon the condition to provide the preset dispersity and temperature in the process of reduction being 40°C, not more. The innovation enables to increase the percentage of ready-to-use product output and obtain the product of high biological activity.
