FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with sampling mucus from mucous membrane of the upper vaginal arch to carry out cytological evaluation of these smears. Moreover, the sampling should be fulfilled 10-15 d before calving, and puerperal diseases should be predicted at the presence of above 80-85% surface epithelial cells in a smear and, also, if nuclei of above 50-60% epithelial cells are in the stage of lysis. The innovation enables to carry out earlier prophylaxis of gynecological diseases under practical conditions that increases stock's reproduction.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction.
