SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, in particular to obstetrics and gynecology. Method of carrying out intracutaneous mesatonum test, intended for prediction of functional condition of reproductive function of cows during pregnancy before labour, labour and sex cycle, is characterised by the fact, that it includes intracutaneous introduction of diagnostic allergen - 1% of mesatonum solution in dose 0.1 ml on preliminarily prepared section is the area 3-5 cm lower than vulva and registration of reaction, which is carried out 3 minutes after introduction of allergen, by manifested on animal body anemic section by measuring its diameter, 1% of mesatonum solution being introduced by intracutaneous injector or syringe with thin needle, and reaction registration is carried out by cutimeter by measuring diameter of anemic area.

EFFECT: invention ensures simplification of method and increased accuracy of prediction.
