FIELD: application of metallic and ceramic coats on parts of aero-space objects.
SUBSTANCE: proposed thermal sprayer has flame generator with end-piece directing the flame on substrate to be coated and injector for injection of powder. Frame member extending from end-piece in way of motion of flame at least partially embrace the flame escaping from end-piece. At least part of frame member projecting from end-piece has one through radial opening for air cooling of flame and stabilization of flow in zone of injection of powder.
EFFECT: improved quality of coats; enhanced stability of sprayer operation; reduction of clogging the nozzle by reverse flow of powder.
