FIELD: production of lithium molybdate from aqueous solutions of high purity degree for using it as luminophores, crystalline matrixes of optical and quantum generators, magnets and in high nano-technologies.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of taking excess quantity of molybdenum (VI) oxide at molar relations Li2O : MoO3 = 1 : 1 -1.85; performing process at 20°C. Method prevents formation of lithium carbonate that may occur further salting out action upon lithium molybdate causing its lowered solubility.
EFFECT: improved quality of lithium molybdate due to its increased purity degree, simplified, lowered cost price process.
