FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary internal combustion engine has fixed body with cylindrical working chamber, rotor installed for rotation in this chamber and partial interaction with its surface, at least one spring-loaded cutoff mounted on rotor for engagement with surface of working chamber, support rings installed for rotation in ring slots of body and engaging with cutoff, and sealing rings stationary installed in these slots and engaging with support ring and one of slot walls. Sealing ring is made in form of truncated cone, and said wall of slot is made conical to suit truncated cone. Sealing ring can be made in form of pack of rings.
EFFECT: improved reliability and operation of engine.
