SUBSTANCE: rotary internal combustion engine has stationary housing with working chamber provided with dominating cylindrical surface with shaped projection. Cylindrical rotor installed on output shaft partially interacts with shaped projection. Cutoff is mounted on rotor. Combustion chamber and exhaust port are made in housing. Surface of projection engaging with rotor is made cylindrical, mating with surface of rotor, and it is arranged direct before combustion chamber. EFFECT: exclusion of passive space in working chamber, cut down cost of engine and increased overhaul periods owing to simplification of sealings in working chamber. 1 dwg
