FIELD: laser engineering; lasing-diode pumped solid-state lasers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed laser has resistor, solid-state active elements cross-pumped by lasing diode strips, and radiator. Length of each active element is comparable with that of emitting region of lasing diode strips. The latter are disposed in parallel with laser cavity optical axis uniformly over circumference in cross-sectional area of each active element. Each of them is independently stabilized with aid of Peltier thermocouple of this strip coupled with heat regulation system. Peltier thermocouples are in heat contact with radiator.
EFFECT: enhanced input-emission mean power and stability of laser parameters, improved spatial homogeneity of output-beam cross-field distribution and stability of its parameters.
