FIELD: technology of production of calcium peroxide.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in interaction of calcium hydroxide with aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide at molar ratio of H2O2:Ca(OH)2 = 1.2-7.0, thus forming calcium peroxide hydrate. Calcium hydroxide is introduced into reaction in form of aqueous suspension of calcium oxide; hydrogen peroxide solution is introduced by adjustable delivery at rate of 0.006-0.060 mole of H2O2 per mole of Ca(OH)2 per minute. Before the thermal dehydration stage, sediment of calcium peroxide hydrate is separated from solution by decantation. Thermal dehydration is carried out in flow of heated air. Interaction of calcium hydroxide with aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide is carried out at presence of peroxide stabilizer at concentration of 10-3-10-5 mole/l which is selected from the following series: alkaline metal phosphate, ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid, complex of polyethylene glycol with phosphorus oxide (V).
EFFECT: extended raw material base of calcium peroxide technology; avoidance of reaction mixture cooling and filtration stages requiring considerable consumption of energy; facilitated technological chain.
