FIELD: ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to obtaining products for air regeneration for life support systems. Method of obtaining a product for air regeneration involves reaction of hydrogen peroxide solution stabilized with magnesium sulphate with lithium and potassium hydroxides with subsequent dehydration of the obtained alkaline solution of hydrogen peroxide by spraying it in a drying agent flow. After the addition of magnesium sulphate hydrogen peroxide solution is added with tetraborates of alkali metals, such as lithium, sodium, potassium tetraborates or their mixture. Molar ratio of initial components is equal to the following values: hydrogen peroxide/magnesium sulphate (H2O2/MgSO4) = 450÷800; hydrogen peroxide/alkali metal tetraborate (H2O2/Me2B4O7) = 400÷700; hydrogen peroxide/lithium hydroxide (H2O2/LiOH) = 3.0÷15.0; hydrogen peroxide/potassium hydroxide (H2O2/KOH) = 1.60÷2.00.
EFFECT: air regeneration product obtained using the invention has high mechanical strength, provides high rate of the process of chemical absorption of carbon dioxide, prolonged protective effect and reducing hydrodynamic resistance to the user breathing during its operation in individual breathing apparatuses.
