FIELD: polymer materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foamed polymeric composites successfully tested for inflammation in room corner according to unified building norms and according to rules 26-3 in their parts related both to walls and to ceiling, and corresponds to qualification for receiving approbation from the positions of FACTORY MATERIAL 4880 standards. Foamed polymeric composite comprises foamed polymer material selected from polyurethane foam and polyisocyanurate foam, which has opposite forward and back surfaces, said foamed material containing: (a) halogens in concentration at least 4 wt % based on the weight of foamed material, wherein at least 10% included in concentration of halogens belongs to highly halogenated compound; (b) phosphorus in concentration at least 0.25% based on the weight of foamed material; (c) composition of residual foaming agents, 50% of which is constituted by foaming agents based on chlorofluorocarbons and chlorofluorohydrocarbons; (d) nonflammable fibers in average concentration 1% based on combined weight of foamed material and fibers and located within 3.2 mm from forward surface of foamed material; (e) facing sheet attached to at least forward surface, said sheet comprising metallic sheet affected by environmental conditions. Panels made from claimed polymer composite were successfully undergone RCBT testing in its parts related to walls and ceiling. A method for preparing above-defined composite is also disclosed.
EFFECT: achieved lack of flame out of door, lack of carbonization in extreme points, and lack of excessive smoke formation.
