FIELD: insulation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a stabilised aged polyisocyanurate-containing insulating foam, a method for production and application thereof for heat insulation and/or in insulation panels. Stabilised aged polyisocyanurate-containing insulating foam is produced at an above 180 isocyanate index and/or stabilised aged polyurethane-containing insulating foam is produced at an isocyanate index in the range of 123 to 180. The foam contains at least one physical foaming agent with a gas lambda coefficient ≤ 12 MW/m*K at 10°C, at least one CO2-absorbing compound and/or products of reaction between a CO2-absorbing compound and CO2, a sealing agent impermeable to gas diffusion, covering at least 50% of surfaces of the foam. The mol.% value of CO2 in the stabilised aged foam is in the range between 0 and 33% as calculated for the total amount of moles of CO2 and physical foaming agents in the stabilised aged foam. The amount of residual CO2-absorbing compound in the stabilised aged foam is in the range between 0 and 10 wt.% as calculated for the total weight of the stabilised aged foam.

EFFECT: resulting insulating foams have improved heat insulation and retain excellent heat insulation properties for extended periods of time.
