FIELD: determination of quantity and type of oxide, sulfide and carbon inclusions in metal-composite systems.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of connecting investigated sample to electrochemical circuit with electrolyte on base of organic solvent with alkali metal cation; polarizing by means of cathode current pulses; measuring potential at time moment of pulse termination; determining coefficients of polynomial approximating relationship of taken potential values upon time; according to received coefficients determining coefficients of polynomials approximating first and second derivatives of function of taken potential values and time; determining zeros of polynomial approximating second derivative; selecting zeros of polynomial where first derivative is negative; calculating differences of selected zeros of polynomial approximating second derivative and potential values in zeros of polynomial approximating second derivative; according to received potential values identifying type of inclusions; according to calculated differences with use of calibrating dependences determining mass dose of inclusions.
EFFECT: shortened time period for performing analysis, increased resistance against fluctuations in condition of analysis, elimination of using high-cost and precision equipment for procedure of analysis, enlarged range of investigated objects.
