FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, particularly to production of electrochemical capacitors with pseudo-capacitive charge accumulation mechanism. Model hybrid supercapacitor with pseudo-capacitive electrodes, including positive and negative electrodes, is characterized by that electrodes are equipped with current collectors in form of stainless steel mesh with deposited on surface of positive electrode layer of cobalt hydroxide and deposited on the surface of the negative electrode of the iron oxide compound, wherein the electrodes are immersed in the electrolyte. Current collectors of positive and negative electrodes can be equipped with sublayer of silicon oxide, on top of which there is a layer of cobalt hydroxide. Current collectors of the negative electrode can be equipped with a sublayer of silicon oxide, on top of which a layer of iron oxide compound is applied. Supercapacitor of such design can be used for operation in DC circuits in charge-discharge mode as a power supply for one-time use at rated voltage of 1.4 V and a small number of cycles of order of 10-200.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is increase of energy maximum due to maximization of working voltage window.
