FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: voltammetric method of determining concentration of an analyte in a sample involves application of a pulse sequence to the sample, wherein the pulse sequence has at least two working cycles, each comprising excitation and relaxation, wherein excitation has time-varying potential and relaxation is in the range from 0.1 to 3 seconds and involves fall of current to at least half the current value at maximum excitation. Current resulting from at least one excitation is measured. Concentration of analyte in the sample is determined from at least one of the resultant current values. The invention also discloses a device for determining concentration of analyte.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determination and shorter time for determination.
