FIELD: medicine, traumatology, orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to invite patients who have or had collum femoris fractures or osseous fractures of any other localization at the age of above 65 and, also, osteoporosis-suffering patients. One should introduce an implant into intact collum femoris. At first, it is important to introduce Kirschner's needle being 2 cm below the greater trochanter along the axis of collum femoris. It is necessary to control the depth of needle's introduction and correctness of the chosen direction roentgenologically. Then with the help of cannulated drill one should make a foramen for the implant. As the implant one should apply a metal cannulated screw or the screw for trabecular bone which should be introduced into the foramen after preliminary removal of a guiding needle. The innovation minimizes the chance for collum femoris fracture.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of prophylaxis.
