SUBSTANCE: method involves effect of a substance to be studied on activity of cytochrome P-3450 and glutathione transferase and determination of the enzymatic reaction rate before and after effect with an analyzed substance. Result is estimated by the ratio of enzymatic rate velocities after and before effect with an analyzed substance. At the ratio value above 1 the presence of antitoxic properties is deduced, and at the ratio 1 or less the absence of antitoxic properties is deduced. Invention provides the information content of method that allows carrying out screening of biologically active substances in vitro that possess antitoxic properties. Method possesses high specificity, sensitivity, good reproducibility and less labor intensity.
