FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: product: carboxylic acid amides, in part, derivatives of 2,2'-diphenic acid monoanilides of the formula where R - 2-Cl, 3-Cl, 3-, 4-Br, 4-J, 4-F. Synthesis is carried out by acylation of halogen-substituted 2,2'-diphenic acid anilines. New compounds decrease hexenal sleep duration, increase microsomal protein and cytochromes P-450 content in liver, accelerate metabolism of substrates - amidopyrine and aniline, value LD50 = 640-1200 mg/kg (for phenobarbital value LD50 = 320 mg/kg). Synthesized compounds show enzyme-inducing activity with relation to hepatic cytochrome P-450-dependent monooxygenase system. EFFECT: detection of compounds indicated above. 2 tbl
