FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: underground gas generator includes horizontal sections of process wells, which are located in coal bed and connected with a flame channel. Horizontal sections of process wells have the length which at least twice is more than distance between wells, and are located near bed bottom. Wells are of enlarged diametre owing to installations of directed drilling. In coal massif above process wells within design outline of gas generator there made are horizontal sections of decompaction wells. The latter are formed by means of installations of directed drilling in drilling mode of pilot wells. Decompaction wells are equipped with sealing elements and made with possibility of being connected to liquid carbon dioxide source and/or source of additional air blasting component.
EFFECT: stable production of high-caloric gas with high gasification rate of coal bed deposits irrespective of its power and coal strength, and simplifying the gasification process.
